Question: Why do people criticise Islamists. I have found my experience has been O/K!?
A good experience for you, and good to hear it!
However; in all circles of people, there are the good and the not so good!
I say this only as the question is about Islam; and as I have found out with worldwide experience, is that the two major teachings; Sunni and Shia, are quite different in their interpretation of the Quran, with Shia apparently very anti-female, blood thirsty, and lacking in compassion for the human condition!
Also there seems to be a blood lust against other Faiths; which seems to be getting worse recently; with threats of War against Countries who do not submit to Sharia Law; which seems to be an extremely rigid and strict Autocracy!
I read a book from an Australian writer (John Laffin) called the “Dagger of Islam”, which was a horrific read, but as the author was an ex. diplomatic correspondent, had to be completed.
